Aug 26, 2009 #2 michiganlover I have not tried it, but I have heard dunking the blade in alcohol, and then allowing it to air dry will help prevent rust.

Aug 26, 2009 #3 pablo_h Yeah dunking it in isopropyl alcohol will displace any moisture and help prevent rust. Maybe just buy stainless steel SE blades?
