SCS Woods?

Hey all--

Has anybody tried Saint Charles Shave new "Woods" AS splash?

Woods are pretty much the only scents I can wear, but my record for blind buys is tragic + costly. I would just buy a sample...but I really like my AS splashes and am losing willpower rapidly.

Anyway, if anyone could give me a description of the scent I'd really appreciate it. And if anyone has tried the new Sahara Balm, I'd love to hear about that as well.

Those were just put on the website last night. ‘Wood’s Aftershave Splash is our splash recipe in a new soft and warm wood fragrance.

Sahara just passed testing. It's made especially for dry and/or sensitive skin. Extra moisture is provided by Hemp and Shea Butter and our own blend of Tamanu, Emu and Rose Hip Oils along with Fig Extract. Fig Extract has vitamin A, C, and beta-carotene and is the new 'Star' in cosmetics. Fig is supposed to be similar to human skin and to provide a tightening effect. Hemp is also very kind to skin.

With so much butter and the oils you’d think it would be greasy or oily but it isn't. Only a few drops are needed and it dries to a matte finish. When there is a problem with 'tacky' using SCS aftershaves, too much has been used.

p.s.--I've heard that "Aspect" is really woodsy, would you say this is true?

Yes. It's woodsy and green and also contains citrus, bergamot, clove, coriander and nutmeg.
