Today, I used the SCS Mediterranean Citrus AS splash for the first time. Another great product from SCS. I have mild to moderate oily skin, and I was concerned about the fact that it has castor oil in it. Not reason to worry, as it fit perfectly with my post shave routine. I use an alum block right after the shave, which I let dry for 2 minutes. A cold water rinse, and then I pat my face dry. This is followed by a Thayers splash which I also let dry. Finally, the SCS Mediterranean Citrus AS splash.
While it felt a little oily going on, it dried to a very nice smooth finish. The fragrance is interesting too, as I did not love it in the bottle. Yet, after it dried, I found that every few minutes or so, for about an hour, that I was getting a nice citrus scent. It dried to a nice feel, not tacky or greasy, but comforting. My skin felt great.
I purchased 3 AS balms and splashes from SCS-SCS Mediterranean Citrus AS splash, Avocado Oil balm, and the lavender calendula balm, which I will try tomorrow. So far, two for two. I think that SCS will get a nice order from me in the future. Great products at very fair prices. I think if they had some old English or French name, they could sell their stuff for a lot more.
