Scrubbing Bubbles alternative

Was at the super market yesterday, and had to pick up some cleaning supplies. I wanted something that didn't contain bleach since the fumes are not only bad for my wife and I , but also my 1 yr old daughter.

Anyhow, I ended up buying Lysol- Complete Clean in the Green apple scent. There are no abrasives in the product and as advertised it disinfects and kills 99.9% of all germs. Worked really well on the soap scum in my tub and shower. It has a nice foaming action as well.

Then it hit me. "I wonder if this would work on my DE's"??

Now let's stop there for one split second. I have a feeling that a lot of guys would just jump into this without reading the instructions on the back of the bottle. This is key, because the product tells you exactly what you should and SHOULD'NT use this on. Then we read that heart wrenching post about the finish coming off of that newly acquired DE.

I flipped over to the back of the bottle and it says "Great on most washable surfaces such as tile, porcelain, vinyl and CHROME"!

Bingo.

I gave my beloved 39C a quick spritz and counted to 30. Scrubbed it off with a toothbrush under warm water...and she shined like I had just taken her out of the box. While I was at it, I gave my chrome stand a cleaning as well. I'm amazed at how much crud was on the bottom of the stand. Anyhow, looks perfect.

I figured I would post this for people that live in areas that do not stock Scrubbing bubbles, or perhaps for some of you that aren't at the stage in your collecting where you would have a barber's jar with some barbicide.

The bottle cost about $3.18 CDN.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Brad

Thanks. I will look for it. I prefer to use sprays instead of aerosols. My mind tells me I get more active product for the money rather than paying for propellant.
