I've owned two SCOTTeVEST shirts in the past. These were athletic shirts with a pocket in the shoulder and another at the hip.
Quality and construction were good, but the fits were bad. I'm a skinny guy and I bought these to run/workout in so I had someplace to put my iPod, but the Mediums were enormous on me and the Smalls were too short.
I kept them for a few years and then gave them away. A lot of companies sell items similar to these that probably fit better. But if you need a jacket/shirt with a lot of pockets they're probably the best out there.
Rolf Potts(author) traveled around the world without luggage for a short time. He kept everything in his scottevest. Gimmicky, but interesting. http://www.rtwblog.com/
