What's new

Schick Injectors

I just got a few Injector Razors. I got "E", "G", "J", and "L" types.

Is there any difference if how each of these shave? One better than the other?

Also, They came with some vintage Eversharp Injectors with blades. Should I use the vintage blades? I do have some new blades so I don't have to use the vintage ones if they weren't too good.

I have a couple E's and G's and one J. They all work very well, but to me the J seems slightly milder. My favorite to use is the E models because they can be opened for cleaning, and it's a little easier to load the blades. Sometimes the plastic bodied blade vaults can be a little finnicky.

I can tell a definite difference between my E and G type injectors. The E is more aggressive. They're both fantastic whisker whackers once you learn how to use them.

onadraw,

I have a Schick E2, and it is a great razor to shave with :001_smile

How old are your vintage blades ?

I have and use some Schick Platinum blades from the 1970s and these shave fine.

Have fun !

Best regards

Russ

Second the new blades suggestion. And I think L's are wonderful shavers - that and an M is a no-brain shaver. You can get a DFS with either.

Anyone have experiences with a type C?

The blades that came with the razor appear to be the original blades. So, about 1950. I did buy some mid70's Schick Platinium blades that I hear are very good blades.
