Schick Injector ... WOW!

Okay, I shaved with an injector today, and I was absolutely amazed. Better shave than a DE, and even a bit better than an SE ... and I only wound up with the thing by accident because I've been trying out SEs lately and was going after an E-bay lot with some GEMs in it which happened to have an injector as part of the pack. Since I had it anyway, I figured I might as well try it ...

Lucky break, I think ... but now that I've found love, what do I do with all these other razors ... ?

My friend loves his gem 1912 and uses gem stainless steel blades..perhaps try those and compare

I've got a GEM 1912, and it's very good--I had almost settled on it as my "one" razor until trying the injector.

hmm ... perhaps more experimentation is necessary ...

The GEMs are very nice, and give a great shave, I just can't get used to trying to shave under my nose with a snow shovel.
On the other hand, there probably is no razor made that is easier to get in there than a Schick Injector.

I wear a beard, so my trouble spot isn't under the nose but around the adam's apple. I gauge a shave by how smoothly it covers the neck. My criteria might change if I were shaving the whole lot ...

The injectors are a great shaver for sure. Almost effortless.

I just had an incredible injector shave today. In all honesty I think I'm preferring GEM and injector shaves over my usual DE with Sharks shaves. Variety is rather nice especially in shaving.

I think mine's a G1. I used it again today to clean up after a GEM Micromatic--which I would've thought had given a fine shave two days ago, BTW.
