Is anyone familiar with how the Schick J type performs/ I purchased what I think is one at an antique store today for $5.00. It looks like someone had two blades stuck in it.

Í only have a I2, J2 and a J3. They all shave about the same.Great that is.
If you buy the razor- after cleaning it- be sure to have it loaded with a used blade before injecting it with a good one.

Will Rite-Aid, CVS, etc.... carry the blades?
You should be able to find them at a brick and mortar. I can here in several places.
Schick made a twin-blade for a while to compete with the Trac II. That might be what you have.
Pics, please before Spot shows up. If it's a J model then it takes one blade, but I'm just guessing without a....pic
I am not near my pack of twin blades at the moment. As a matter of fact I not came around to have not even tried them twins yet. But I positive the package stated that they were good for every Schick model.
