Schick Auction

Its an interesting auction that I have been watching. I'd say its truly a unique item as a display item. I am not sure you would want to break up the display and use the items as individually 6 injectors, even NOS ones would not total the BIN price.
I'd tend to agree with you that the BIN price is probably a little overoptimistic mainly because injectors don't seem to be pursued by collectors in the same way that Gillette DEs are. That said, as a display piece in such condition, you are really probably looking at only a few left in existence.

I loved the instructions titled "For a close shave follow these simple instructions" then it proceeded to list 32 different steps!

I agree, the seller would probably do better if he broke up the set and sold them individually. While Gillettes sell more readily, I still think there is a larger group of buyers that intend to use the gear as opposed to those that are hardcore collectors, and would spirit something like this away and seal it in a vault. As much as I hate to admit it, since I am deep in this hobby, we are still dealing in fetish properties when we talk about vintage shaving gear.

Look carefully, I think it has 4 I's and 2 J's......Someone had a six display earlier this year that had different graphics but was this same mix of razors....

Ahhh...I see. Well, you still didn't bid anywhere near the BIN price. You don't think the BIN's were ridiculous?
