Scenting an unscented ASB?

Hi All,

I have very dry skin, and most AS balms I've tried have not been moisturizing enough. What works best for me is simply using regular cetaphil moisturizing lotion as an ASB. Obviously it has no scent.

What's the best way to add a scent to it? Should I get an essential oil and add a few drops? A few sprays of a cologne into the bottle? Has anyone had good luck with this?

I really like Feather Kanwa which is unscented, I will mix a few drops of cologne with some ASB in my palm before applying.

I've had good results mixing in essential oils with witch hazel; I don't see why it would be any different with a balm. Just make sure you start with a drop or two of EO (a little goes a long way!) and mix thoroughly

Seems simple enough. I'd put a couple of drops in a bottle of balm and shake vigorously. You could also stir it with a long, narrow stiff wire, it seems to me. Let us know what you do and how it turns out!

I was also thinking I could try a scented AS splash...but I would have to use the moisturizer as well. Would you suggest using the splash before or after the moisturizer?
