Scared myself shaving...

so last weekend as i was shaving, i glanced in the mirror, and was pretty sure i had opened my jugular:scared:...quick way to get your adrenaline going

1/2 a second later i realized I forgot I had pink fingernail polish on... :confused1

I had just gotten back from a mission trip with the youth group from my church, and one night one of the girls had grabbed my hand and started painting my nails. it was later that night when i realized there was no acetone, so it stayed on for a while (I discovered it is really hard to keep fingernail polish on at a construction site, or really doing any type of work, I don't know how women do it)... after shaving I used my knife to scrape it off

The pink nail polish is the bit that worried me but if your happy with pink who am I to question your fashion tastes.

It would be the common carotid artery you would want to avoid cutting .. lots of squirting red stuff all over the place.

I’m stumped
pink is OK if you are French.
we had a French client in town and he had a top with a small pink bow emblem on it.
He asked why we were laughing at him.........we told him the small pink bow emlem was a sign he was gay (the look on his face was priceless).......he then walked around all day trying to cover it up.
The emblem was a brand in France.

it's ok, i shave by scraping a piece of bare steel more than a century old across my face, it makes up for any manpoints i may have lost by having pink nails!

The fact that you had a straight razor before you had pink nail polish gets you enough points to get out of this one manliness intact.
Jugular is so 2011 go for the artery ...

Thanks for the morning laugh! As the father of a beautiful daughter I completely understand. I have had my fair share of girls birthday parties, overnight sleepovers and daddy "manicures." the family dog however got it a lot worse than I ever did!
