Saint Charles Shave New Spice Cologne.. Wow man

Hello ladies and gents,

I'm two months and ten days into my venture of wet-shaving with DE razors and during this period of time I have been exposed to the many, many types of products that one can use during their shaving routine; soaps, creams, aftershaves, and of course cologne.

I come to you today having just received my package from Saint Charles Shave; I wanted to say that this is one of THE BEST PURCHASES that I have made thus far. (new spice, dagger, sandal wood, and a freebie pumpkin soap; honeysuckle freebie; dagger aftershave milk; and dagger plus new spice cologne)

Now I'm finally at the point of this post, I wanted to give you all a heads up that while all of these products have an absolutely wonderful scent and quality, the "Signature Fragrance New Spice Eau De Toilette" is quite possibly the best cologne I have ever encountered. I can only describe my personal reaction as shock that something can smell so wonderful.

Heads up :w00t:

What's it smell like?

- Top Notes of 'Uuhm, who smells so good?
- Middle notes of "What are you wearing?"
- Base notes of "I just have to give you a hug, you smell wonderful!"

^^^

I think that the above taken from its description on the S.C.S website explain the scent much better than I can.. If there are any B&B members feeling capable of putting a name on the notes in this fragrance please come forward!

Yes, do. While I have not a doubt in my propolis clouded mind that it is indeed a fine product, depending on the sniffer of the potential hugger, that description could cover anything from Lilac Vegetal to a meatball sub sandwich.

I wish I was better at these sorts of things, for some reason the combination of scents in the New Spice escape explanation for me .. while we're at it I have no idea how I would begin to describe the "Dagger" scent; also wonderful.

The B&B reviews mention caramel, a sweet candylike scent with underlying spices that has lots of staying power and a couple reviewers compare it to A*MEN.

Interesting.

If it smells like a meatball sub, I'm buying it.
