So so so excited. My Rooney 3/1 in finest just came in the mail. It is gorgeous, and far and away the softest brush I have ever felt. Much softer than the ones at Cable Car Clothiers that were selling for $300+. And such backbone to boot! I am gonna be getting up 15 minutes early tomorrow morning...

Thanks to everybody on this forum who responded generously to my incessant questions. I had to be sure of the brush before I bought it, seeing as the price was rather high, and everybody on here provided me with the feedback I needed to pick my perfect brush out. Many, many thanks to everyone who responded to all my questions. Without your gentlemanly support I might have paid much more for a brush of much less quality.

THANKS B&B!!

:jump: :badger:

Did you get yours from classic shaving or vintage blades? (ie, is it black or horn?) I really wanted a white one, but no one had them in stock and I wasn't going to wait for the unlikely chance that Rooney starts making them again. I like the black a lot, though I wasn't at first sure that I would.

And yes, it is just as good as everybody says.

I got mine from Jim at Vintage in Faux Horn...I can not wait!!!!!

What's the story with Rooney?

Had my eye on one of the 1/2 or 3's in Super, but they all seem sold out at Classic, but VB have a good few left (can't get shipping o/s from them anyway). Are they not going to make these anymore, and if not, what will replace them?
