For those who have brushes from both brands (are they made by the same shop) are they any differences between them when it comes to 2-band hair and density? For example if one would compare 3xl Rooney to same knot M&F is there much difference? Thanks.

There is a difference in hair, a natural product, and in knot size and shape. But it's not necessarily a brand difference. So compare brushes, not brands, especially in the case of M&F v. Rooney. See my recent post on Roony extra dense.
