Rooney 3/1 | Simpson Chubby 1

Just curious, what characteristics are you particularly looking at?

I've always wanted to give the Chubby 1 a shot. I'm very familiar with the 3/1 and just wanted to compare handle height and width and bloom size. I'm going for it! Getting a C1 in two band super.

My only concern is that the knot might be too large - I prefer smaller brushes, but the loft is fairly short so that might offset that. The wider and slightly shorter handle appeals to me greatly, though... We'll see.

Since you are getting the two-band, the bloom of that brush, imo, would be considerably less than the C1 in Best that is shown since the two-band hair retains its shape due its being more resilient than Best grade hair.

Therefore, it would seem that the C1 in Best two-band is exactly what you are looking for. Good luck.
