Rooney 1/1 in Best?

Anyone have any experience with this brush?

Am thinking of getting it for my father-in-law-to-be for his 60th birthday. The Wilkinson Sword badger brush he got about 25 years ago when he was in London is so worn out and nearly dead, I'm embarrassed to have three different brushes (including 2 silvertips).

If he's had the same brush for so long, I would think any brush that is as close as possible to that brush's size would be a winner! Too big or two small and he might not want to re-adjust. Just my opinion though

Recommend the Super Silvertip 1/1 instead.
