Roof Rack Attachments

About a year ago I decided that my Mazda 2 needed a roof rack. After much deliberation I decided on the Yakima Whispbar, which has been a great choice for the most part. It's shockingly quiet, and has had surprisingly little impact on my fuel mileage. I was also drawn to the T-slot mounting system, which I thought would be a benefit. I'm quite happy with the bars and will be keeping them.

My problem is that no accessories really fit on it. I can strap surfboards and other bulky items to the bars with no problem, the issue is bikes. Because of the aerodynamic profile of the bars you can't get the standard accessories, I had to get the Forklift Aero (a universal-fit bike mount). This wouldn't be a problem except that on my ultra-short roof I have to mount it backwards if I want access to my hatch. Yakima was supposed to have released a product to fix this, but in the year they haven't delivered.

My question is this. Does anyone know of a t-slot mounted bike rack that has a tray that is forward and backward adjustable? I want to get away from the universal mounts as they're clunky, slow, awkward, and have far too many parts.

Thule makes t slot rack mounts for its bike racks. The front mounts using a "t bolt" the back mounts using a u bolt. I'm on my phone, but can shoot you more info later

That would be appreciated. I've looked into Thule stuff, but the website doesn't really have a good explanation of things, and the salespeople aren't any better. I just saw that the Yakima WB200 bike rack is out. It looks like what I'm looking for, but $200 is more than I'd like to spend if I can avoid it.

Most Thule Aeroblade (?) i think they call it's accessories will work for the whisp bars.

I used to sell both systems, I far prefer Thule.
