Picked up this 1985 oysterdate recently. I love that it is a mechanical wind. Very different but still true to Rolex’s classic look.

I have kicked myself for not snagging a perfect condition explorer 1 about 10 years ago for $1500. That is 34mm too.
Congrats again on that beauty.

It’s in my birth year so it’s now my fav in the collection. And I have some beauties.

I thought it would wear too small but it fits just right. Not a fan of these monsters where the lugs go past the wrist. Looks off.

I have a 34mm SS Oyster Date that I've owned for 25 years. I absolutely love it.
