The wife and I watched What's Up Doc and Love Story the other weekend to commemorate the gentleman. Two excellent movies. My personal favorite, though, is Paper Moon.
I guess I’m the only guy who loves “Barry Lyndon”
I haven't seen the movie but the old standard "It's Only a Paper Moon" has been stuck in my head for months.

That 1932 hit was featured in the movie "Paper Moon". It's really a pretty good film.
The movie was based on about the first third of the book Addy Pray. If you can, find a copy and read the rest of the story.

I watched it once, years ago. I forget why exactly, but my viewing was interrupted ... long film had to do in two sittings sort of thing ... and it never really connected with me. I've been thinking of giving it another go sometime soon ...
Stanley Kubrick. Apparently its critical reputation has come up over the years. Appare3ntly known for being kind of cool and distant, intentionally so, for some reason. I remember not really connecting with it either.
I'm not sure I've seen Paper Moon (I'll add it to the list), but What's Up Doc is great.
