RIP James Earl Jones

James Earl Jones, was best known for his voice role as Darth Vader in the "Star Wars" franchise, in addition to "Coming to America," "Field of Dreams," and "The Hunt for Red October."

According to family, he "passed away this morning at his home in Dutchess County, New York surrounded by family."

I just watched The Sandlot on Saturday for the first time, and out he comes at the end to elevate a decent but uncomplicated film. He did that to everything he was in. Think Admiral Greer in The Hunt for Red October.
