RIP Richard Lewis

Richard Lewis passed on 27 February of heart failure.
He was probably best known for his role in Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I really liked him in Anything But Love.

Curb Your Enthusiasm was great, but whenever I think of him, I immediately think of Prince John in Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

The weird thing, literally last thing I saw him in was a recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, where he was arguing with Larry David about leaving him an inheritance in his will.

Larry David has offered a tribute to his longtime “Curb Your Enthusiasm” co-star and friend Richard Lewis, who died of a heart attack Tuesday at the age of 76.

“Richard and I were born three days apart in the same hospital and for most of my life he’s been like a brother to me,” David wrote in a statement Wednesday, shared by HBO. “He had that rare combination of being the funniest person and also the sweetest. But today he made me sob and for that I’ll never forgive him.”

Loss is hard, and it makes me sad for Larry.
