His "Song For a Winter's Night" is something to behold. It reminds me of a long ago time, place and a very special woman. No one can paint a melodic picture like him. R.I.P.

I don't know if you've seen this video of one of his concerts in Reno, NV from a little over ten years ago, but he told a little bit about Song For A Winter's Night before playing it.

I got to see him and the band a few times back in the '80's when they played at Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles. He'd frequently give a bit of background about his songs before playing them. Always a good show.
