A few years ago he was a thug. With Adam Jones, he was one of the bad guys in the NFL. He truly did turn his life around. He focused his life on his family. As an avid Bengals fan, Rip Chris, you will always be missed.

I thought I heard the news people saying he got thrown out of a truck during some sort of domestic dispute.
Irrespective of the details, this is a bonafide tragedy. RIP
Certainly a tragic situation. I'm reminded of the Sean Taylor sadness not long ago, as well. My prayers for the families involved.
How tragic.
Very sad. Like Gruder said, it reminds me of Sean Taylor. A young, troubled athlete who shows all the signs that he's getting it together only to be senselessly killed.

Chris Henry has been the talk of the town all day today here in Cincinnati. I was not a fan. It seems he was a quiet, shy, follower who made plenty of bad decisions. Mostly, being in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong crowd. But, listening to those who knew him, he had apparently separated himself from the negative influences in his life. His focus had shifted to his family and football. He leaves three children under the age of 10. Truly a shame. RIP.
There's a lot of talk about it here in North Carolina too. What a senseless way to die.
