Was in the market for a new semi-auto .12 gauge. Something I could use for Sporting Clays, Upland shooting, and maybe some 5-Stand. Pretty much narrowed it down to Browning Silver, Winchester SX4, Remington V3, and Beretta A300.
Seems the shotgun crowd is extremely divided. Someone has something bad to say about just about everything. Not much help. So...coming home from Atlanta I just happen into a local shop in Jasper, GA. Only an Adequate selection but not surprised. It IS just after Christmas.
But, snuggled in the used rack what do I see? A Beretta A300 Sporting Model in pristine condition. Even all the original packaging was there. $750.00 later I was out the door. Life can be good.
