I ventured to Art Brown yesterday.
I wanted to try that Invincia. I was also hoping they would have it on sale.
Well I tried it. I was not impressed. I also tried the Lamy Studio. I thought that nib was smoother, though ever so slightly.
Then I whipped it out. My Sheaffer Targa. I said, "I really want something that will write this smoothly." I thought the man was going to cry. I'm pretty sure he drooled. His eyes moistened. His voice quivered with emotion, sadness and joy. A deep and profound sadness that a writing instrument like that was no longer made, and a joy that he had seen one, in brushed chrome, and actually written with it.
I left the store with a bottle of Lamy Blue/Black and a Rhodia Pencil.
