Rescue operation successful :)

Well some of you guys read the story of my disasterous attempt at cleaning my Tech and my Superspeed the other day, in which I turned the Tech almost completely black. The Superspeed as I said, was not too bad, however I was still very dissapointed about the whole ordeal.

So tonight, I decided to try my cleaning skills once again, and dedicated roughly an hour to scrubbing with toothbrush, soaking in mouthwash (thought it couldn't hurt) and polishing until my hands were black.

I was absoloutley deilighted with the result. The superspeed didn't come out to well in the photo, but the Tech is gleaming. If King Camp Gillette could see it now he would be oh so porud of me :)

Thanks for all your advice guys. I hope I have learned my lesson.

thanks guys
this may sound ridiculous but i could not stop smiling all night, when the tech was black, it was too embarassing to leave it in the bathroom, now it has pride of place.
Oh yeah, dunno were i got the mouthwash idea, it's extra whitening mouthwash, it really helped ;)

Nice job! If the mouthwash cleans razors, what's it doing to your teeth?!? :scared:

Lol, I prefer not to give it too much thought, but hopefully it's cleaning them, lol. I got the idea from people saying Whitening toothpaste was good for cleaning things up, so I decided whitening mouthwash would probably work in the same vain. I have since left a silver bracelet I am attempting to bring back to it's former glory soaking in an ashtray full of mouthwash. (yes I did empty the ashtray forst),lol ;)
