Req: Help identify vintage Gillette razor

Help requested to identify this GIllete vintage razor. The handle and bottom plate is chrome. The top cap is not and possibly may not be original. The inside of the bottom plate has the numbers 80428. The bottom has Made in U>S>A> and the Gillette Diamond symbol. The handle is 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm) long

WIKI here seems to assign 1928 as date of manufacture based on serial number.

This razor was part of a razor lot I had bought on eBay several years ago. I forgot what I paid for the lot but it was reasonable. The top cap is scratched and with brass showing in places. But the rest of the razor looks pristine The chrome is beautiful. A very fine shaving razor too.

Well I found it, it's a Diplomat

Yup, Diplomat. Nice razor.
You should be able to find the date code on the underside upper corners, possibly something like a Z and 2 on the other side.
