repeat purchases

Hi all, not posted for a while but still read most of your posts. I have been DE shaving for 10 months now and still love it, had a few good shaves and a few not so good Anyway after collecting 3 DE razors, a straight and 10 various soap/creams I started to wonder what was the first repeat purchase of soap/cream? 1 of my 1st purchases was for TOBS sandalwood cream and I just purchased my 2nd tub of the same stuff because I really enjoyed, I mean I REALLY enjoyed using TOBS so when I saw some on EBAY a short while ago it got me thinking that I enjoyed it so much that I would get some more.
So who else has thought the same? ie that you enjoyed using a particular soap/cream so much you bought another tub/tube of the same variety?

I've been at it for three months now and I've yet to make a repeat purchase. It really is amazing how far a sleeve of 100 blades or a bowl of cream will go. I'm still on my first bottle of witch hazel, and that's something that I use every shave.

One thing that will definitely be a repeat purchase for me is Arko. That is, if I somehow manage to exhaust my supply in this lifetime. I've used the stick a dozen times now and there's barely any of it missing. On top of that, there are twelve more sticks of it hiding in my closet.

I've made repeat purchases of Palmolive cream and sticks, Proraso soap, Floïd blue aftershave, and various blades. Other soaps I will definitely buy again include Arlington and Mitchell's Wool Fat.

I'm about 2 years in and I have so much stuff I'm yet to actually finish anything apart from the odd sample.

I plan to repeat purchase my favourite cream- TOBS Rose, delightfull scent, great razor glide ( straight and DE ) and leaves my skin nice. I have yet to finish anything!

After one stick of Arko. I bought a box of 12.

When my tub of ToOBS Lemon & Lime, Proraso Pre/Post Balm and Aftershave Liquid Cream run out I'll will be buying some more for sure.

Might even get them before they do!

I always "restock" any Truefitt & Hill creams BEFORE they get to the bottom of the tub.

I have not found any other shave cream products that I like as much.

I try a lot of products and the only repeats so far have been:

TOBS Rose cream. It's the only Taylor cream to be replaced of 6 Taylor creams I had, but it's not likely to be a three peat.
Tabac (always a staple)
La Toja stick

My TOBS isn't quite empty yet, but when 1 saw it at a good price I thought that I would restock. Apart from what I call "consumables" blades, witch hazel balms etc. my TOBS is the 1st true repeat purchase.

My only true repurchase was a tube of Bigelow. I like the tube for travel and when I need a quick lather.

If a "family" of products counts, then TOBS cream - first one Mr. Taylors, then Rose. I can see me doing this with other TOBS scents and also DRH. Love the DRH Marlborough, but will probably replace with one of their other scents, but sticking with the DRH "family" of soaps.
