Repair or Replace?

I just came back from an junk dealer ( it's listed as antiques, but is mainly junk ) where I bought 2 razors. One is an L3 TTO flare tip in really good shape, it just needs to be cleaned ( high end user grade, but not a museum piece. ) The other is an old Gillette OC. I'm not sure which one, but what I am sure about is that the handle is in terrible shape.

I'm wondering 1) what is it and 2) should I bother fixing the handle or just grab a cheap tech & make a frankenrazor? I've read about fixing it with some epoxy and a dowel, which wouldn't be an issue. I just want to know if I should even bother. There is a huge crack at the bottom, the bottom of the handle is missing & there are 2 small cracks starting at the top... I've included a picture of the worst crack & all 3 parts of the razor. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I picked both of them up for the whopping huge sum of $3.

After looking at it more closely, it just says "Trademark Gillette" and "Made in USA" on it. No other markings or patent info...

Looks like an Old Type single ring handle with the ball end missing (probably because of the crack). I'm pretty sure you can epoxy the crack, but I don't know what you do about the missing end/ball. Someone else with more knowledge will probably have some ideas. Hey, you got a good deal on both razors at any rate. Good score.

Thanks. I figure at the absolute worst, I can swap it over to use a tech handle to give the head a try. I just have never tried an OC before... At that price, it doesn't really matter if I like it or not:p

+1 If you can find a replacement handle that would be your best option. Good luck.
