I just came back from an junk dealer ( it's listed as antiques, but is mainly junk ) where I bought 2 razors. One is an L3 TTO flare tip in really good shape, it just needs to be cleaned ( high end user grade, but not a museum piece. ) The other is an old Gillette OC. I'm not sure which one, but what I am sure about is that the handle is in terrible shape.
I'm wondering 1) what is it and 2) should I bother fixing the handle or just grab a cheap tech & make a frankenrazor? I've read about fixing it with some epoxy and a dowel, which wouldn't be an issue. I just want to know if I should even bother. There is a huge crack at the bottom, the bottom of the handle is missing & there are 2 small cracks starting at the top... I've included a picture of the worst crack & all 3 parts of the razor. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I picked both of them up for the whopping huge sum of $3.
