Reliable online used watch purchases? Is it possible?

Since you guys have gotten me into wetshaving, I've spent more than I had to in order to remove hair from my face.

BUT! I've had a great time doing it, and I thank you! So, why stop at shaving gear?

The BST has been a great enabler. I can justify buying something on there, since I know I can sell it again for more or less the same, minus shipping. Many of you, I am sure, have found your favorite products this way. I'm eternally thankful for stumbling across RazoRock Chianti Lavender and La Toja!

Now that my den is a little more stabilized, I've had a recent BST event to shed unneeded odds and ends. As such, my Paypal account is flush. What to buy?

I've been eyeing a watch for some time. Recently, the wife got a really nifty chronograph from her company. I've always loved them, and now that she's in the club, it seems unfair for me to be burdened with this Timex.

So, I've done enough research to be dangerous. I know I like chrono, I think I want an alarm, and I adore the gee-whiz factor of the Citizen Eco-Drive. Something like this.

I'd love a Citizen that was also radio controlled, but that may be beyond my means. It wasn't THAT big of a BST event... :biggrin1:

So, does there exist an online equivalent to our BST for watch fans? Somewhere where people don't look for a noob like me to con, but who share an appreciation for both product and education?

Maybe I'll just want my requisite 2 weeks and post a WTB in the BST in the hopes of getting lucky?

Thanks for your help and recommendations!

I too would like to get a watch like the one you are considering but it will have to wait since my shave den is anything but stable right now. That is evident by the package from you that just arrived today. The razor I got was my birth year razor!

I'm glad that's the case Rorpen! I kinda gave up on finding a birthyear DE, since by the time I was born, DE's were already phasing out. Enjoy, the SS's are among my favorites.
