I recently dug out the first razor I ever purchased, an Atra from 1978.
I hadn't used it for years, at least since the Sensor was introduced.
I still had a couple of new cartridges left over from the last time I ever used it. Was I amazed at what a great shave! So amazed, I went out and bought
a new 10 pack of Atra (Plus) blades. I agree with a post I read elsewhere,
I think this was Gillette's best cartridge razor ever, I would place Sensor as
a close second. Tried Mach3 once and hated the way the head is positioned.
Refuse to give in and try the Fusion. Does anyone know if Gillette ever
sold thes with a travel case? It seems that when I bought mine, it came in a
bubble pack on cardboard.
Thanks.
