Really impressed with Red Personna

Just had my 4th shave with my initial red IP and it still isn't showing signs of significant strain. This is unheard of for me. Usually, most blades are dead by that point with me. Feathers are 2 shaves and then that is it. Do these have more staying power in other people's experience? They are also very forgiving for being so sharp.

Like you I get 2 shaves out of a Feather. The red IP is ok for me, it could be a tad sharper though, and lasts 3 decent shaves. It can be stretched to a 4th shave for me but I prefer not to.

I retired my last Red IP after 9 shaves. Frankly, I was just having fun stretching the number of shaves, but they last far longer than other blades for me. So much so, that I just bought a 3-year supply

Interesting. I only get 2 shaves from a Red IP and 2 weeks from a Feather. Maybe I should try a Red again.

About six weeks into wet shaving...So far, I've tried Derby and Red Personna and Polsilver. The Reds really stand out for me. Mostly using a 1940's SS.

Used a Red IP for the 5th time today in my 37c Slant. Still a nice smooth shave, no nicks or weepers, and very little drag.
