just wondering if MAYBE I should consider a DE handle to use with my GEM 1912 which DOES work just fine...I used to have a closed comb 33c Merkur..my sensetive skin didnt like the angles needed compared to a SE blades so I sold it..so far im happy with my GEM 1912..been a DE shaver 5 months now an SE shaver like 3 months I think now...thoughts/suggestions welcomed!

I have no idea about SE shaving, but if you want to try out different looks and weight balances, why not?

What are you saying? You want to put a new handle on your 1912? i have a couple of 1912's and like the black Bakelite handled, brass Junior the best. It's a regular.
