Razorock open comb blade suggestion

I'm gonna be using my jaws for the first time tomorrow, and I'm looking for blade suggestions. I've been having great success with Gillette silver blues in my ejde89, but I hear that the jaws open comb is a very aggressive razor, so maybe I should try a less sharp blade? I have quite a few other blades, such as derbys, astra sp, blubirds, Gillette blacks, and several other singles from a sample pack.

Thoughts from you guys?

I used my Jaws OC for the first time tonight. Had previously been using a merkur 37c Slant. Shave went very well.. It's as aggressive as my Slant.. Maybe a bit more aggressive but was a great shave. Try just a simple two pass shave... Keep it simple for the first time, and watch your blade angle!!! I would just go with the blade that's been working best for you. I've been told blades react differently in different razors, but I used the same blade brand I've been using in my slant... No problems.. Good luck....

I use a personna lab in my RR OC. Gillette Blacks are similar to the labs for me, so one of those two are the ones that work for me.

I would give the same advice of sticking with your go to blade as will not be surprised by it's performance. My Cadet OC, FaTip Picollo and Muhle R41 all shave well for me with an Astra SP

Thanks for the replies everyone, I'll probably start with a GSB and then go from there, maybe give an astra sp a shot. Astra's were on of the first blades I used and I didnt have a great experience with it, but I can probably chalk that up to the learning curve. I think I have to give them a fair shot.

On a kind of unrelated note, the jaws head looks great on the ikon bulldog handle!

I have had good luck with the Rapira family of blades in the RazoRock OC....it is said that they are a stiffer blade and do well with more blade exposure.

Updated: The shave with the Jaws felt quite rough. Was tugging and pulling and skipping, which surprised me quite a bit, since I used a very sharp blade (Silver Blue). Did not enjoy, so it'll be sitting in a box for quite some time. At least it was inexpensive.
