Razor/Shave Stores in Ohio

Just found out I have a great razor/shave store right in my hometown. Wondering if anyone has been to Imperial Shaving/Straight Razor Designs in Medina, Ohio? I here they have everything. Are there any others around that anyone can recommend? Thanks

Quite a few of us from this area, and, many of us have been there.

They do have everything, or at least imo, they have SO much you won't be dissapointed that they don't have everything.

SO many products that I have read about here, they have! Even my daughter enjoys going in there with me just to smell the scents.

Enjoy! :thumbup1:

Welcome to BB.

I have been wanting to go up there. I'm about a 1/2 hour south and I still haven't been there, but I have ordered a few things from them. I don't know of any other shaving stores such as Imperial Shaving in this area though. Definitely on my list of places to go. When you have a job and three involved children, you don't necessarily get out much..... internet shopping has been my salvation.

Thanks for the input I plan on going there in the next few days. Looking forward to seeing what they have.

Columbus has Rivers Edge Cutlery. Not a BIG selection, but they had a dozen razors or do, a dozen different soaps and probably a dozen aftershaves. By far the best collection I've found in Central Ohio. They had Ogallala, RazoRock, Colonel Conk and a few others. (Love the RazoRock Caprician Lemon and Ogallala Bay Rum soap)

Thanks for the input I plan on going there in the next few days. Looking forward to seeing what they have.
you'll enjoy it , im bout 20mins north of it and have been there a few doz times ..... only bad thing about going there is i always walk out with more then i had in mind of picking up !!! ...lol

I am in Cleveland and it's about a 45 minute drive from my home. I have been there and was impressed with this clean, well-lit, well-organized, well-stocked store!

It's well worth going, and it's the one thing that actually saved me money since I started wet shaving. You are able to actually physically look and smell the creams, different soaps and fragrances. If you ask Don (the owner) his opinion, he will give it to you, he is honest and does not try to hard sell.. It's a place where you will walk out and know you are going to like what you purchased when you get it home. The only place close to Medina is Beachwood and they have the typical shaving stores.

Imperial has straights, and All you would need for straight shaving, but I don't know the brands/designs.

They have modern DEs. Merkurs and Parkers.......I don't think they have any others....but, the prices of their DEs are comparable to the net, I do know that because I was thinking of the Merkur 37C, which they have for the same price I can get it on the net....They also have various DE blades, so you can sample, for reasonable prices, imo of course.

If you are a brush freak, I suggest you Avoid the store All Together!

I am also in Medina. STAY AWAY! I love/hate that I live so close. I can't go in there without buying something. Seriously though, it is a great place, run by a great and helpful staff. Don and his sons are professional and courteous. It is awesome to go in there and touch, feel, smell all the products. It is a very classy place. I can't wait until they open up the straight razor shave side. They want to offer straight razor shaves. Maybe we should do a meet at their place? I know Lynn is coming into town this summer and he mentioned some type of meet up.
