Razor identity; double ring clone?

Hi, does anyone have any idea what this one is? I did a search and something similar came up in a thread before, but no-one managed to ID it then:

That other thread showed an authentic double ring. This, as you suspect, is not. Not sure what it is. There were many old type imitators back in the day, and some even attempted to duplicate the double ring. Are there any markings at all?

Very nice razor. You are saying it is not a Gillette?

It looks to me like this one would come apart at the head, like a Pocket Edition style Gillette would, rather than having an inner barrel that comes out the bottom of the handle. If it doesn't have any markings at all on it, it's going to be very difficult to trace it back to anyone in particular. As AMB said, there were many different companies making razors that attempted to follow Gillette's style to a greater or lesser degree.

I feel that is definitely not a gillette. Everything about it is not like a real double ring

Could you show some pictures of the razor disassembled and any marking on the underside of the head or bottome plate?

Whats your location? as this could have a bearing on what it could be. There's a lot of English Gillette copies out there. I had one which was a 'British Scientific'. It looked like a single ring.
