New DE shaver here with a few questions.
My setup:
Parker Vintage butterfly razor
Classic brand super badger brush
Art of Shaving Sandalwood cream
Floid pre-shave oil
Still experimenting with blades but Astra and Red Personna best so far.
Was thinking of going to a progressive razor, as I would like to be able to dial it to the aggressiveness I want. I also would like a heavier razor as the Parker is the only one I have tried and it seems light to me. Any recommendations?
Just tried the Art of Shaving cream this week. I was using the DR Harris almond soap which I love but wanted to try a cream. I love the amount of lather I get from the cream but I don't feel the cream moisturizes as much or protects as much as the DR Harris. Hoping to find a cream that comes close in those 2 categories. Any recommendations?
-Only been wet shaving for about 2 months and still working on my technique but it is getting much better. I enjoy shaving now but feel I could still improve.
