I also use the "settings" button a lot. Actually, my quick link tab goes straight to the "settings" button. I think this link is a great way to check in on what has happened since I was last here - updates on subscribed threads and PMs. But, I bet most people don't even know about that option. I wasn't aware of it in the past and had to use a custom search each time I signed in. Definitely had an "aha" moment when I found "settings". Maybe that option should have a better name so others know to use it?
