Questions regarding talc powder

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding talc powder:

1) Even though I don't consider my face's skin as oily (when I touch it it's smooth, not greasy), my T-zone (forehead & nose) shines like a lampost on every flash photograph. Does the use of talc on the face help to avoid this? Anyone tried it?

2) Has anyone tried the following talc brush? How does it work? Is it any good?

IMO, no shine on the face looks unnatural, on guys and girls both. If someone's flash is that bright on your face, it's probably more due to the lack of a quality photo than something wrong w/ your face. All the point & shoot camera photos are probably gonna do that to most people that don't have 10lbs of makeup on. Now, if your face was shiny in normal lighting, then that's one thing, but I wouldn't worry about the talc if I were you.

1. Talc helps. I use it every day and recommend it. These help, too:

2. Are those talc dispensing brushes? That is, they have a reservoir of talc in the base? Have never used one but have not heard good things about them. This one on the other hand for $9.99 at Sally's or 8.99 with one of their discount cards, seems perfect:
