Would A Boar brush (Or Some other shaving item like blades or soap/cream) get caught in customs?

I'm in the US and my MWF in the ceramic dish arrived in 7 days. Where are you?
I wouldn't see why? Sometimes shipping times vary from overseas (at least in my experience) but Connaught always ships fast and provides great service. I have ordered from them twice, the first time my order took 3 weeks to get to my door, the second took 5 days. Both were blades so customs wasn't an issue.

I'm on the other side of the world Connaughts gets stuff to me on average 4 days tops, they have amazing service and shipping.

I'm in Germany and it took 3 days from ordering until it was in my mail box. There were 50 blades in the envelope. cheap shipping too
I ordered an Omega boar from them and had no problem with shipping or customs.
It would have nothing to do with Connaught, but yes, those items could get caught in Customs. I ordered a brush from UK and it took about a month to get to DC because of Customs in NY.
I doubt you'd have difficulty buying anything from Connaught. I've ordered from them twice and transit from UK to Texas is about 10 days.
I've ordered brushes along with a few razors and soaps on many occasions and I've yet to have an issue. It took 10 days to get my Futur that I got yesterday.

Ordered from Connaught twice and never had any customs issues with deliveries to Canada.
I ordered twice from Connaught. I've had no problems with customs in Canada. Received the shipments fast too - about 1 wk both times.
I've had great service with them. Also there are a few things I wished I had ordered from them since I saw their prices are better on some things I've already purchased and their shipping is reasonable.
Two orders so far. One ten days and one seven-- to NC. Great place

What differentiate vendors is after-sale customer service and support.
I would suggest before ordering from any online vendor to do some research on customer service.
I did have problems with some vendors when trying to return items I was not happy with (due to flaws, defects...). Ended up paying return postage because they would not accept responsibilities.
One vendor that stands out when it comes to customer support is West Coast Shaving (WCS). Best there is, not that you are going to need support when buying from them.
Another manufacturer/vendor that I read outstanding reports is Tradere.
I would not hesitate to buy from them and will always recommend and support them.

Ordered a few times: usually 10 days to Singapore. My fav vendor.
Another vote for Connaught Shaving. Ordered a few items from them and it was packed well and was delivered to Singapore in 10 days. Also, I had placed two separate orders with them within a day and after a short correspondence with Peter of Connaught Shaving, they consolidated it into one shipping and also put in a few more freebies / samplers to compensate for any cost they may have saved in shipping by consolidating the two orders. Should there be a need, I will gladly order from Connaught Shaving again.
