@GBerry , how would you compare the feel and handling of the Blackbird Lite to your 3ONE6? They seem both very nothing alike and slightly alike.

@thombrogan I like both but I definitely prefer the Blackland Blackbird Lite over the 3ONE6.

Here is why:
The BBL has a smaller gap and therefore a reduced risk of nicking. The BBL has slightly more exposure so you know where the blade is. The BBL seems to hold the blade more securely.

The blade feel is about the same between BBL and 3ONE6. The BBL is a shallow angle shaver and I get way with shave neutral on the 3ONE6.

With the BBL, I lean toward the sharper smoother blades. You can probably use a larger variety of blades in the 3ONE6.

I am not sure it’s a “better” shave, it is a better shave EXPERIENCE since I started using my Georetown Pottery scuttle. I nuke it, filled, for 2 1/2 minutes and I have warm lather for three passes. AND my lather is thicker and creamer than I was getting from my other bowl.

I have 34 nice shaves on the Blackbird Lite. The Personna Med Preps and the Laser marked blades supplied by Blackland are an excellent match. The Personna Lab Blues ink marked tend to want to nick on the second shave. I suspect this box.
