Purchased my first SE last night

Aside from an injector I recently bought, I purchased my first true SE razors last night via the Bay. Picked up what I believe to be two Gem MM Bullet tips/flying wings. One gold, one chrome. It seemed like a good deal, so I jumped on it and figured I'd pass one of them along at some point. Now I just need to get myself some blades! Here's the link with pictures.

I have a chrome one and I like it. Great heft and ergonomics plus it shaves great.

Nice pickup, and nice price! I enjoy my bullet-tip MM's very much. They're not super-aggressive like a MMOC, and shave very well. Pair it with some GEM blades from your local drug store and you're good to go.

Just remember that SE shaving requires a distinctly lower angle that DE, and you'll be fine. Be prepared for a much louder shave experience, though!

The Flying Wing is what I started with because I was told that it is the mildest SE. Have fun!

All the recent first time SE buyers have picked up the Gem Bullet Tip razor. Interesting. Not my favorite razor but overall i really like the MM razors.

That one is one of my favorite SE razors, right up there with the model 1924. Always a fine shave when I put up a bullet tip

I haven't checked lately, but now that you've got me all paranoid I'll head in there and check. WHAT will I do without them?!

UPDATE: I went into one of my local Walgreens this evening, and indeed they had done a shaving department re-set. GEM SE blades were nowhere to be found. I'll keep looking for a local source and let you know what I find.
