Proraso Liquid Cream AS vs Aftershave Splash

I'm thinking about picking up a bottle of Proraso aftershave, but can't decide on the liquid cream vs the splash. Can anyone tell me the benefits of buying one vs the other. Also, do they both smell the same or are they different?

I have both and use both. They are VERY different scents. After using both for about a year, I lean heavily more on the splash. Not because the balm is less effective, but the cooling sensation and scent of the splash put me over the edge. That plus the hot/humid summer months see me use less balms than normal.

Both are packed full of good skin ingredients. Occassionally, I'll use the splash as a toner then go for the balm to seal the shave. Why buy one when you can buy both LOL!
