What's new

Proper Christmas gift after 3 months of dating?

Spa stuff. Bath soaps, shower gel, that kind of stuff.
Have a look at what scents she enjoys, head down to whatever store and buy some quality stuff.
Don't ask what scents she likes, you have to do some work.

It hasn't let me down yet.

Two gifts.

#1 I'd go for something small that says you're paying attention to the little things. No gift cards. Jewelry is cliche IMO

#2 Something in your budget but a nice gift. Tickets to plays are awesome! And depending where you are in NY, you're golden! Dinner and theater.

I've been married for 7 years and was thinking the same thing....lol

This is what I was going to suggest. Maybe a rose too just for the hell of it. The only problem with roses is that if you keep her around she'll start complaining that you haven't given her a rose in a long time.

Yup. It is easy but we forget.

Nice perfume? You should have a good idea of the type of scent she likes after three months.

Been dating a girl for three months and can't figure out what to get her for Christmas.

Any ideas?

Given where you're posting, a Gillette ladies' DE? :001_tt2:
(I'm serious, see this thread or do a search)

Other than that, even after 3 months, it's never too early for...
Jewellery or
that perfume* - you know the one - you will enjoy it more than her anyway.
That perfume for you may well be a totally different perfume to that perfume for me.

The beauty of perfume is, if you feel 3 months is too soon for a "real" present you can buy a highly convenient "purse pack" which would make that perfume reasonably priced. :001_tt1:

*that perfume - the one that "gets your motor running".

Simple, keep buying them for her occasionally. :wink2:

Something that she wants, asking is usually a good idea... though it's five days away so a gift card and some flowers or a nice night out someplace.

Depending what point your relationship is arrived at, nice lingerie might be appreciated.
Ahem. Make sure the size is absolutely, 100% correct.
If you buy too small, she will feel "as big as a cow" and blame you.
If you buy too big, she thinks you think she is "as big as a cow".

Get it right, and make sure it's her type of thing (just better than what she would ever buy for herself!), and it's as good a present as you can get! :001_tt1:

You could find out what her favorite animal is (bear, dog, cat etc) and run to Build-A-Bear and get her a nice gift that you helped make. You could then get a single rose and put it in the arms of the animal you get her. Worked wonders for me :thumbup1:

nothing says lazy like a gift card.. if you're the guy with the blind date at the donut shop (i'm too lazy to search) a bag of donuts in addtion to a real gift might be cute. perfume and shaving stuff might seem kind of self serving.

I would suggest a Pandora braclet and a couple of charms.. then you are covered for a lot of gift giving occasions :001_smile
