pre shave w/ cetaphil

so i went home to visit the family in FL recently and I didnt have the luggage space to bring the proraso pre/post shave cream. well, i had an old bottle of cetaphil lying around and decided to use it. well, surprisingly, i got a really close, comfortable shave. was using featherblade proraso cream.

has anyone ever tried using cetaphil? seemed to make the blade glide effortlessly :-D

I use Cetaphil when I don't have time for my usual shower based prep. I find it works well, but not quite as well as my more elaborate routine.

Which Cetaphil product was it ?

I could probably get SWMBO to buy it for me cause she is a big fan of their products.

I think we have the daily face cleanser now.

The one I use is the "gentle skin cleanser". I get mine two large pump-top bottles at a time from Costco at a great price. I also use the stuff for washing my hands since my allergies can't stand the stuff that is in most hand soaps.
