Ok, I haven't purchased from The Gentleman's Shop... Yet. However, I sill be spending somewhere around 50 USD with them in the next couple of weeks, specifically since they have been so willing to work with me regarding the exact items that I want to order. One is the Coate's tea tree shave cream, one is the sea buckthorn "travel" shave soap, and I'll be throwing in a tub of Grafton cream for good measure.
I've been watching with bated breath for the arrival of the Coate's and was a little dismayed that the soap was OOS. I asked them when they expect it in: ~ 2 weeks. I asked if they might run out of Coate's before the soap came in: Not likely, but if it looks like we might, I'll hold one off to the side for you.
Yeah, that's the kind of pleasure that I get from dealing with smaller and more personable companies. They are willing to go to extra lengths for potential customers. That, folks, is what earns a following.
