What's new

Pre D' Provence

Anyone using this I was thinking of picking it up to use with the soap any thoughts if you are using would be great

Thanks

I have been using this for about 3 weeks and I love the way it smells and soothes. While I am new to the whole wet shaving thing, I have been wearing aftershave for quite a while. I would buy it again!!

Be prepared - the smell is WAY more present in the AS than in the soap Yes, same could be said about other soap/AS combos of the same scent, but I wasn't ready for how strong the AS scent was in this case

Don't get me wrong -- I adore the soap and the AS is great stuff. Just make sure you like the smell; it will stay with you for a while!

YMMV, of course.

The scent is a very nice, light soapy + light sage.

Of course! Sorry, forgot to mention that.:blushing:

The scent is great. When I started DE shaving, this was the first soap I got, and I still use it almost two years later. It will always be in the rotation.

...and I still can't resist picking up the mug and smelling it every time I walk in the bathroom.

I love the scent, kinda sweet, kinda like freshly laundered linens. The ASB is a great match for the soap, but I don't use it in combination with other products. Not that it isn't effective, just that no matter what soap or cream you use, you'll end up smelling like Pre de Provence. The dispensing method (tube) is not my favorite for an ASB, I'd rather have a glass or squeeze plastic bottle. It's also not a ton of ASB for the price (75ml)

I got it in this kit, which I seem to pimp a lot here, but I swear I'm not affiliated. I just mention it because it's a great deal IMO if you're at all interested in the boar brush.
