I find Mike's to give a thicker and more protective lather than MWF.
Mike's get the edge with scent, proformance is about the same for me.
Wouldn't be wonderful if there was multiple scents of MWF?

I found Mike's gave the better first pass lather, but MWF had better stability pass to pass. Choose between them? I'd probably pick Mikes as I'm sure with a bit more playing with it I could make it work. To be fair though, I'm far from a MWF fan. I tried to like it, but the lather was just subpar.
Damn you guys. I just ordered 5 different Mike's samples.
Maybe next March we should pair up 64 soaps and have our own tourney! One soap will rule them all!

Mike's was the first shave soap I ever purchased. In the interim year or so, a very very large group of soaps have come around, some fabulous, some great, some terrible. But no matter how great, I've never had a soap be better than that original tin of Mike's Hungarian Lavender. Everything just gets compared to Mike's, and ultimately, everything comes up short. Some are just a tad short. But Mike's is still the gold standard. And that tin now has but 4-5 shaves left in it. I've got a backup on the way. But there is a tiny part of me that thinks perhaps that particular tin was just plain magic, and will never be duplicated. I sure hope not!

Love them both but with all the varieties of Mike's I will nod to him. MWF is a great soap but only one scent.
Mike's but it's close. Mike's is easier for me to lather and variety of scents keep things interesting. Love the lanolin in MWF though.
never tried MWF. so i did not vote.

I have come to love Mikes very much. His soaps will always be in my rotation as long as he makes his fine soaps! With MWF i get a lot of irritation but none with mikes. Thought it was the lanolin in MWF but mikes has lanolin so it cant be that.. Mikes FTW!
In the scent department Mike's is a clear winner. I give Mike's a slight edge in the quality of shave department too. Mike's is my favourite soap but MWF is quality stuff.
