SUPERB soap made in Italy by TFS: Mastro Michè Revisited Rive Gauche Shaving Stick. Did I want to test this relatively new soap? Did I want to verify if TFS had actually improved its formulas? Did I want to find a new stick that could be a worthy La Toja replacement? YES, YES AND YES!!!

You're right, my friend. It's the only flaw I can find in this otherwise FANTASTIC soap.

Are Razorock shaving soaps still produced by TFS?

The soft Italian soaps are. Not sure about the What-the-Puck hard soaps.

Nice! I guess I need to save up and hit Birmingham, UK for a Sheepsfoot slip-joint and Italy for some shave soaps!

After a dive into this soap's availability, I found it at Conaught's for $5 plus shipping and The Razor Company for $6 with free shipping at $35. It's about a 50% premium over Haslinger's 60g pucks plus shipping as well from most shops.

Sure is tempting so, I've got it sitting in my cart waiting for an impulse buy!

Any comments on it versus Haslinger's options?

You're right, my friend. It's the only flaw I can find in this otherwise FANTASTIC soap.

It looks like it should fit well in one of my blood pressure medicine bottles from the drugstore but, I need to check its dimensions. If not, one of the travel displays at my favorite retailer likely has a bottle or little box that will fit it pretty well.

Sir, Haslinger and Mastro Michè stick are two totally different products. The first is a hard (very hard) puck, the second a soft soap. There's no doubt Haslinger is going to last much longer, so represents better value for the money. But both are GREAT and worth having, in my opinion.

I generally use hard soaps which is why I compare things to Haslinger.
