Pomade

Hello all,

Tomorrow is my last day in the army, and after having a #1 for the last 6 years I finally have hair! Basically when my hair gets long enough I'm going for the Tony Stark hairstyle and I'm wondering the best product to achieve it. I'm after a medium/soft hold and a matte finish. Any recommendations on a good pomade for this, and what is an appropriate price to pay? I don't mind spending 20 bucks if it's going to last for ages, but if I can get something with a nice scent for cheaper well obviously I'll go for that.

Imperial Barber. They are water based. All of there products can be bought for $20 a jar, which they are huge. Best products I have tried.

Honorable Mentions:
Dax Super Neat or Dax Hair Shaper
Axe ( the purple pomade). Yeah, it's axe, but it is a good one for $6.

Imperial barber is the strongest water based pomade I have tried. I do prefer there fiber pomade, which is less shiny.
I know I am pushing water based pomades. I like to me able to wash them out at night.

Check out the blog The Rebel Rouser. He has a great pomade review section.

Good luck with your separation. I remember when I got out and the hair started to grow as well.

For a water-based Pomade, American Crew is some good stuff. For a less shiny but strong hold check out American Crew Fiber.

Both wash out easily....which is my chief complaint about other Pomades.
